In particularly, is St James? St Richard Reynolds? Or Twickenham Primary Academy?
Thank you in advance for your help

St James's is a very popular primary, if you are able to get a place you should seriously consider it.

Depends where you are. To get in on a church place you would need to get your form signed by the local priest to confirm your church attendance (or your previous parish priest if you are new to the area). If you are trying to get in to the schools on a state place then it’s all about location.
Have you been on the Richmond schools website? It will tell you distances you the schools for children awarded a state place and numebr of state and church places awarded last year as well

Sure. Will check that. Thanks so much 🙏🏻

Hello - I have also just moved in and have the same dilema. I was wondering which school did you end up choosing in the end.

Thank you!

Hi Meki,
welcome to twickenham! My D goes to St James Catholic Primary School. It’s a great school. What a lovely year!

All the primary schools in Twickenham are excellent. It really depends what you're looking for, there's a good range of Catholic, CofE and secular schools, if you're applying for a reception place next year then you should get anywhere you want, none of them are full in reception this year except Orleans and the birth rate is falling so should be the same next year.

Great to hear that you are happy with your choice! There is so much to choose from and I’m a not overwhelmed after doing all the school tours. St James has I think the best outside space but it’s also the furthers school to us 5 mins by bus. But happy to hear it may be worth the bus ride on a winter morning :)

Thank you - this is comforting to know for us applicants. It also means that the classes should be smaller which is also a plus. All the schools I saw said something along these lines. Haven’t seen Orleans yet but will do next week.
