DD started in FS 2 this year and I would like to get a book with ideas to encourage and compliment her school learing through activites we can do at home.

Any ideas? Any you have used and would recommend? TIA

You both might enjoy the activities in 'One to One': a practical guide to learning at home, age 0-11 by Williams (Lewis), published by Nezert Books. Full of practical suggestions including games for arithmetic, handwriting, gardening, cooking and crafts Ignore his ideas on teaching reading though, as he's a whole-language advocate. HTH.
