Cumnor vs Laleham vs Regina Coeli (and any others!)

Hi all

We are desperately trying to work out what primary school to send our son too. He is due to start school in September 2021. We have looked at Cumnor and Laleham but unfortunately haven't been able to see Regina Coeli (where we have a place) due to the pandemic.

Any insights/views into these schools will be much appreciated. We both work long hours and need good wrap around care so will be interested to hear any thoughts/experiences on this aspect as well with respect to these schools. Unfortunately there has been limited information about Laleham and Regina online.

There’s a thread under Education about Cumnor House which makes an interesting read. I had a child at Cumnor and moved them to LL- absolute best decision for him- however their wrap around care starts at 8am and ends at 5.30pm latest pick up so maybe not suitable if you need longer hours

Thank you very much. What led to your decision to move from Cumnor to LL? How did you find they compared academically?

I am looking to send my daughter to cumnor girls or croydon high, appreciate any thoughts or insights on the schools, thanks.

How you child is academically at Cumnor House will depend on how much you pay for tutoring. Despite being a private school, you will get nothing for your fees. Also don't expect any advise on secondary schools, as you will be told that it is up to you to find out everything.

I went to Regina Coeli when I was a kid. Obviously this was a billion years ago, but it was a really great school and I was very happy there. If I was still in the area, I’d want to send my kids there.
