Primary school admissions when moving to East Sheen

Hi
We are in the process of buying a place in East Sheen. I have two kids going to Y3 and Y6 in September 2021. Any recommendations on applying via the council given we still don't have a council tax bill and will move in from Chalk Farm at the end of school year in July. We won't have the bill in our name for another month.

It's a catch 22 and worrying! Anyone been in a similarly situation and know what we can do?

Thanks

You can contact the council now to check which schools have places, it obviously those places might not be available when you actually move!.

Thanks. We have applied for our council tax bill and will apply now. Fingers crossed

If a school has places you can apply through Camden from your current address. They will pass the application on to Richmond who must then allocate the place (assuming no-one else has applied). You don't have to wait until you've moved to East Sheen.

Oh wow! That's really helpful. Let me check on that. Thank you.
