Primary Schools in Wilmslow area

Hi everyone, i am just wondering if anyone has any knowledge about the schools in Wilmslow.

We are going to move into Wilmslow in August, our kid is 5 now and looking for in-year application of year 1, we have 2 choice of schools within our walking distance.

  1. Lacey Green Primary Academy
  2. The Wilmslow Academy

I am looking for a school which can provide more help to suspected SEN pupil + Overseas new comer (with few ADHD symptoms but not severe, not diagnosed since too small)
Anyone know which school is better for a active kid?

Sorry to dampen the enthusiasm but the more pressing problem for you will probably not deciding which school to go to but actually getting a school place in the Wilmslow area. Most of the primary schools are full. Most schools will have classes at the maximum of 30 allowed under the infant class size regulations, so winning at an appeal will be very very difficult.
The LA will legally have to find you a school place but realistically it could be anywhere in the Wilmslow area, so you may have little ability to express a preference of school.

I think yes you need to look where there are spaces first

Thanks All
I am checking with school to see if they have year 1 place now, waiting for reply.
Hopefully the school vacancy list on Council website is updated.
