Roundwood Primary in Harpenden

We are thinking of buying a house close to Roundwood Primary in Harpenden. DD is 3 so we will need to apply for primary schools soon.

Does anyone have any information on this school? I know it traditionally had a brilliant reputation but for the past couple of years it has been undersubscribed. Is there a reason? Or just down to changing birth rates?

I should maybe give up now but thought I'd give it one last try in case anyone is out there

Falling birth rates across the town. If you look at the other primary schools nearby this year, they’re all undersubscribed. My son is there at the moment and loves it. Good head, experienced and lovely teachers, lots of outside space and very handy with the secondary next door too. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it! I also think the nursery/forest school is now doing full days-that’s a really handy way to get an introduction to the school and helped my son settle into reception with no issues whatsoever.
