Hurlingham School New Head

Hi there! My little boy is due to start reception in September 2022 and Hurlingham is one of the prep schools we applied to. However we've just seen that it's welcomed a new head (Mr Gould) and would like to know if any current parents know what the vibe is like now?

We met the previous head teacher Mr Brough and really liked him so it's a bit of a shame that he's no longer there...

Thanks very much!! Smile

Don't know him personally but my niece is there and DSis is v happy with the school.

He was at Thomas's and Ravenscourt Park so two very solid preps. Hurlingham also has a new deputy joining from Bute House so some great credentials and experience of their top staff.

Hi there, I have a DS in Y3 and another starting soon, and we are very happy with the school. Mr Brough was a brilliant head but the new head is rising up to the challenge too.
The pastoral care is very good, the school has brilliant facilities but above all excellent teachers.
Last but not least, we went through two lockdowns and the homeschooling provision was excellent: as parents we always felt very supported.
good luck with your choice!
