Most of the schools I’m looking at have a play session/activity morning type assessment for entry into nursery/reception. We have been speaking our heritage language at home. I’m wondering what this would mean for the assessments and if anyone has been through this? I’m guessing lack of English will be a disadvantage and we would probably be encouraged to apply again at a later stage?
