Any thoughts on the Roots of Empathy program?

Just been notified that our school is to introduce the Roots of Empathy programme across Ys 3&4 - initial research suggests it's an anti bullying programme but I'm a bit wary of anyone going into schools and would welcome any personal experiences of the scheme. Seems to be big in Canada (but given that Canada is now the world capital of Woke - this connection doesn't really allay my wariness).

Yes I used to deliver the program a few years ago when I worked in a primary.
It's brilliant. I loved doing the sessions and the kids loved them. I can't say 100% if it worked but it's completely harmless and just a lovely half hour each week.
I did it for 2 years in y1 and y2.
I only stopped because I changed career and can't fit it in around my new job.
