Hi everyone, we're new to the Chislehurst area and would like to find out more about Babington House secondary school. Its reputation is of a very academic school but I'm really interested in the pastoral support - are the children happy there, what happens if a child is struggling academically, are there many sporting options for sporting children? I'd really appreciate any advice people can give - thank you

I wouldn't necessarily characterise it as academic. It's a very small school so results can and do fluctuate (quite a lot) class by class.

Babington is a happy, caring and supportive school. Pupils perform well academically and achieve excellent results, largely due to the inspiring teachers and small class sizes - no more than 20 children in a class.
It has high standards of behaviour, dress and conduct, and a strong sense of community.

Babington is committed to outstanding music, drama, sport and offers a wealth of extra-curricular opportunities. Pupils enjoy a full range of sports and complete in sports fixtures.
Please contact our Admissions Registrar on 07394422361 to arrange a tour of the school. We look forward to welcoming you.
