Hello, we are moving down from London soon and need to choose a school for our son who is already in yr4.
He is autistic and struggles socially. He gets along well with other children but is quirky and a bit different. He is well behaved and not disruptive in the classroom. He's extremely bright and well ahead academically so we want somewhere that will stretch him and encourage his love of learning but will also nurture him and accept him for who he is.
We can afford private and feel he may be stretched more in a smaller class but don't want to put him there if they (or the parents) will make him feel uncomfortable for being autistic.
Any insight into how these schools would respond to him? Thanks
