Trainers for the rest of the year

What has your school said about footwear for the end of the year? Mine have said trainers allowed due to growth spurts and money being tight. In September back in school shoes. My friends school have said school shoes only.

Mine has been in sports kit and trainers since they went back a few weeks ago and it will stay that way until the end of the year.

Secondary school in full uniform including shoes, primary were never strict about footwear.

Primary - they haven't said. I'm not sure they even have a shoes policy in their uniform rules to start with - almost everyone wears black school shoes anyway. Secondary - full uniform expected, some leeway on footwear given shops not open if they've grown since last term.

Nothing specific said. Most wearing school shoes, a few wearing trainers. I assume the school are being fairly tolerant of that, but they generally are fairly tolerant in terms of uniform.

Nothing official said at our primary but I won't be replacing any outgrown shoes with new ones until shops are open for proper fitting.

Primary- officially back in full uniform with correct footwear. Unofficially, blind eye probably turned as the uniform supplier is closed but the newsletter says ask for help if any issues.

DS primary very strict about uniform. We had a reminder about 2 weeks before the return to school that all uniform and shoes should be checked for size and the uniform supplier was open for online orders if anything new needed. Black school shoes and full logo-d everything only!

My kids school has been lenient till now....but back to normal ASAP (shoe ships don't reopen until the kids are back after Easter.)

Ours aren't bothered. Most are in full uniform but a large smattering of non especially in Yr6. They aren't fussed about shoes
