Sutton High for Girls

Hi

My first time on here, I was looking to see if there are any parents who already sent their children to Sutton High for girls. I wanted to get some advice from any parents in the junior school - ideally currently in reception or year 1. How has your experience been of Sutton High? Do they keep two separate classes in year one with separate teachers? I have seen some negative reviews about this. How has the school been with you as parents and with your child? I would really appreciate your feedback on this matter, I just hope I am not making a wrong decision for my Daughter by sending her there. Thanks in advance.

By the way I also looked into Claremont, St Catherine's, Ewell Castle, Holy Cross but felt this school was a better fit and had good facilities.

We attended a prep open event as we were considering 10+. The headmistress said they have a maximum class size of 24 so will always split the class if there are more than that. Where did you read the reviews? We have only read positive reviews.

Hi - if you check the school on google reviews, scroll to 1 year ago there are a few negative reviews on there. I suspect that the positive reviews came on post that due to the school asking parents to post reviews to negate the negative ones (I know my daughters school do this!).

Even though a year ago - that was when the school was fully functioning (pre-covid).

Nevertheless - considering how its so hard to find any negative reviews - that is a really good sign and hope true to what the school is like.
