Hi,
I am looking at WUS and wondered if someone can tell me about the school. I haven’t been able to visit due to covid. Is it a very academic school as people say? What happens if child is not as bright as other boys in class? Also what are school hours? Don’t know what the environment is like. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Very academic. One of the best schools for an academic child. Child will be 'managed out' if he consistently shows poor academic progress.

Thanks @Nataly21. How would one know if their child is academic or not? Assuming they pass the entry process but then slip over summer. Do they support the child when they enter and help them get to the level? I think I maybe over thinking this but I am just worried as lockdown has not helped.

Sorry, I don't have personal experience. But have heard from others that if a child consistently shows mediocre performance, managment tends to encourage a move to other schools. They only take the brightest ahead. There's no guarantee your child will make it to senior school if the child gets through junior school and therefore must continue to display promising results. That said, alumni network is incredible and benefits are lifelong.
