Independent primary school in Wimbledon, waiting list?

We're starting to look into independent schools in Wimbledon for our 2 years daughter, to start in 2022 or 2023, nursery or kindergarten level (still not sure). We've been looking into Ursulines, TheStudy and Willington.
Are waiting lists common in the entry level for those schools? We've been reading about admissions and waiting list, but its's unclear to us if that's also an issue in the early years of those schools...
I wonder how far in advance people usually start the registration process.
Any insight would be highly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi!
Unlike boy schools in Wimbledon, there is no need to register in advance for girl schools as this gives no advantage.

My suggestion though, would be to work out which school is your preferred one and make this abundantly clear to the admissions person, as it can have a beneficial effect. All the schools you mention are good (my DD goes to one of them) but they are seen by some (not me) as a second choice (to WHS and PHS in particular). These schools are keen to have pupils who will stay from Reception to Year 6 - there is quite a bit of movement throughout this period (e.g. families leaving the area).

I have heard that The Study in particular has decided this year (new Head) to secure places ahead of the ballot if a family is happy to pay the deposit, so this could be a good option if it is your first choice.

I know it's hard right now as you cannot see the schools in person... Once you can, have a look around and I am sure you will easily know which school your DD would be happiest at. Combine this with 'leavers destinations' which you can find on the schools websites.

Best of luck!!
