I need some help with ideas for lucky dip prizes (nice cheap ones!)

Not sure if this is the right topic, but couldn't think where else to put it.

Our preschool has been offered a table at the local primary school christmas bazaar.

We have decided what to do and it involves a lucky dip. My question is what sort of prizes should be in there? I only have a preschooler and baby so have no idea what primary aged children would like so would really really appreciate any ideas.

They need to be cheap as we were hoping to charge 50p (ish) to have a go. The game is a board with straws if you pick a long one you get a dip in the lucky dip if it's short you get a sweet.

So would 2 lucky dip boxes be best then, one for small things ie, lollies and one for larger bits? I was thinking poundland do some nice things with say 3 things which you could split down

You couls ask all of the parents to donate some prizes. Small notepads and coloring books will go down well as would sweets.

Hair bobbles, packets of stickers, art/craft stuff? As you know I only have girls, and find boys really hard to buy for!

I am sure though if you go in to pound stretcher or similar there will be tonnes of stuff. Asda are pretty good as well - used them for stuff for party bags.

Those little mini bubble pots you get at weddings. Mini glow sticks.

rubbers, little toy cars / animals, novelty pencils, notebooks, stickers, bouncy balls,
you can often get bumper packs off ebay - they come under stocking fillers or party packs I think

Had my VERY dim brain on! Will try to get things that preschools might like too so that we can use the bits for their bazaar too, guess we can keep them for next year.

Little cheap jewellery bits, little men with parachutes, little puzzles. In fact party favour sort of toys. Tesco and other shops sell big bags with like 50 party favours for a few quid. maybe have a boys lucky dip and a girls? Thats what they do at our school but obviously depends on what sort of toys you have.

And i started this post hours ago but had to go out so apologies if this has already been said!

Thanks for those links, the bugs/snakes are nice and cheap. Cars maybe a little too expensive as think we were going for a 50p jobby. But will search cars out elsewhere as they're always a good one for boys.

I picked up a load of stickers in poundland. In big sheets but i'll cut them down and put them with sompehting else to make a girls prize.

Think i'll suggest a boys and girls pot, with maybe some unisex bits chucked in each.
