I am a TA in a primary school and I am covering for the class teacher this week but have not been given any lesson plans, are they taking me for a mug to expect me to do them ?

I would expect my TA to be able to cope with guided reading, but we do use a scheme so LO are written on books and the whole lesson is set out for her. TBH I think that sounds fine. How long was it for - not for long I am guessing? She has left you something simple to do - whar is the teacher doing? Mind you I wouldn't be happy about the halloween picture - but then I hate halloween.

Sorry, did you say you were covering for a whole day with no lesson plans?

What happens when they have a supply teacher - they can't work without lesson plans and it's just the same thing
