School closed

Has anybody’s primary school shut for all children including KW children too? Due to high Covid cases.

DS school txt me last night. Gutted as I’ve just started working in a new department.

No I'm in secondary but a member of staff has now got COVID from being in with KW kids so not sure what they are doing.

Ours had to last week. If they haven't got the staff they can't open unfortunately. Likewise if there's a case at any point your DC will have to do 10 days so worth planning for.

Ours critical worker bubble had to close last week as a child tested positive.

My DD has been in but only two year groups were in. All the others were self isolating.

I don’t have anything to plan as I’m a single parent and I work in a hospital. DS dad is WFH but he’s no use to say the least.

Yes our primary had to close early just before Xmas as the whole school was rife with covid. Not every class but 3/4s
