Any thoughts or experience of these, please, especially the Good Shepherd and the difficulty of getting in to it?

I don't know the school personally, but small Catholic Primary schools in west london are notoriously extremely difficult to get in to.
Apart from being a proven practicing Catholic it seems you would need to live extremely close to the school...ie within 0.277 mile last year, and 0.205 mile the year before!
In the state system in this area, choice will often be limited depending on where you live.

Thanks, Ripple11. It is in regard to my grandson, who, though a baptised Catholic does not have regularly practicing parents.
They are trying to work their way through the mechanics of choosing, preferences, etc.
Of course at the moment, visiting schools is impossible, online is really no substitute.

Any thoughts on Southfields?

@TrickyD Yes you need to be practicing....or at least get the priest to sign it off!

I used to pass Southfields every day....but really don't know about it.
A good bet is to ask on the "chiswickW4" website forum.

Thank you again, Ripple11. I had a look at that forum and will point DS and DP towards it, if they have not already pored over it in their obsessive fashion.
Poor DH is being bombarded with school websites, OFSted reports etc. We went through all this with our own DSs, but as he is a retired HT they think he will love reading all this stuff.
