7+ exams 2021 entry. WUS, St Paul’s, Highgate, Habs, UCS,MTS

Hi all, I just thought to start a new thread on the 7+ assessment process. I haven’t seen that many active threads. How is your DC finding it so far? How are you feeling? My DS is also sitting the exams and it would be good to chat.

Any idea what will happen with second rounds if schools don’t go back?

Not sure but some other posts have suggested some sort of online test in the second round.

Sorry to derail the thread a bit, but just wanted to know if anyone knows which age bond books I should buy, in preparation of the 7+?

Confused as the books say 11+ but then have ages on them.

@justasmalltownmum you can start with bond 6-7 or 7-8 depending on how old he is (summer/winter born). Get one book and see how he does and move up ... you can easily go up to 8-9 for 7+

Anyone’s DS going for UCS? I know it’s now online. Not sure if anyone has any ideas what to expect? Multiple choice? Interview? Our DS is sitting the exam too.

Hi MUMT3 - my son had his UCS 7+ exam yesterday. Have you had yours? The boys at his current school have all had theirs now. I hate that we have to wait so long to hear if they have a place. My DS has an offer at NBH and they need us to respond by 4th Feb. I have emailed and asked for an extension though but have not heard back.

@MP2021 PM’d you. Yes we have now had our exam and the waiting begins. Good luck with NBH - I hope they put the current situation into consideration. Hopefully they don’t have too many children on waiting list as you may find that would be the challenge.

My DS will be appearing for the 7+ exams this year. I really want some advice and would be grateful if I can discuss my questions with anyone whose DS sat the exams for St. Paul’s, Westminster last year.
