Eagle House vs Hall Grove

We are trying to decide between Eagle House and Hall Grove schools for our DD (7) and DS (5) starting next year. Any advice, gossip, or warning from parents past or present would be highly appreciated!

I have 2 at Hall Grove and they're very happy. Fabulous outdoorsy school life and excellent staff. Traditional prep. Hear great things about Eagle House too though. Are you thinking perhaps Wellington afterwards? I think the class sizes might be a tad smaller at EH but you'd have to check. Max 20 at HG. Just depends what you're looking for and where you're located I guess.

I don’t have much experience of Hall Grove. Eagle House is a great school for all rounders.

Thank you Delta1! How dependent is Hall Grove on its current Headmaster & Owner? Do you know what their contingency plans might be in the long run?

Thank you squatsnlunges! What are your views about the Eagle House's new Curriculum 200? Has it been built to dovetail with the curriculum at Wellington? Would it be of use if DD & DS decide on going to, say, Wycombe Abbey and Eton afterwards?
