Lyndhurst House School

Just re posting for traffic....

I’m considering Lyndhurst House for my DS (starting next September.) Would love any feedback from current or recent parents- or anyone in the know about the school.
How is the teaching? Especially further up the school? Would it be a good choice for a very bright but sensitive boy?
Any reservations about it? Would love to hear all stories out there, including negatives... All perspectives appreciated.

@PipaJJ No the name is a coincidence, I’m not actually at Ready Steady Go (although I hear good things about it!) I was in West London and moved to Hampstead. So I’m a bit behind the curve.

I haven’t heard anything about it closing. I think you might have heard incorrect information on that one.... But I would like to know about the teaching further up the school, and the general attitude of the school etc etc if anyone has any perspective on that.

My son is at Lyndhurst House it is absolutely lovely school and I would recommend. So far, the teachers have been fantastic. I think it is a great for a sensitive boy. Very nurturing happy school. Regarding the point about numbers - I've not heard that. The current Reception class was oversubscribed with a waiting list.

Do be careful who you listen to on MN, you have no idea who is really posting. PipaJJ is the head at one of the Hampstead preps - she should really be sorting out her own mess of a school rather than spending her time badmouthing others.
