KCS 8 plus November 2020

Hello everyone
Did anyone out there do the KCS 8 plus on Saturday? For those with any experience when the results come out, do they actually tell you at that time if you are on a reserve list and a position? I am not too optimistic about the outcome and may need to engage in some creative explaining for my DS so would love to know a bit more! He doesn't want everyone at his school knowing he didn't get in etc...!!

They will tell you if you are on the reserve list but not a ranking on the list. They will say there is no ranking and they discuss who to call if a place comes up.

Does anyone actually get in from the Waitlist? Loads of comments on MN suggest that last year no one did as they tend to over offer so much. The whole thing seems encased in mystery and rumour!

It happens. Maybe 1 or 2. But it may be more likely at 7+ than 8+ because of the larger numbers. And yes, they also over offer in the expectation that some will decline.
