I've been trying to get my head around this - but East Dunbartonshire Council is really opaque about this.
We're planning to move from England up to Scotland, potentially East Dunbartonshire. Does anyone understand what happens with getting my daughter into a secondary (she'd be joining into S2)? I know various of the non-denominational schools are in crazy demand, but I don't understand whether the Council commits to providing a secondary place, and whether that will be the catchment school or another within ED.
If anyone can provide info on this it would be much appreciated.
