Nascot Wood Primary School - Watford

Looking for views on Nascot Wood Primary School, Watford. I know it's hard to get in. We plan to move close and stay on waitlist. So just seeking actual experiences on how the school is. The good, the bad and the ugly please 🙂.
The Ofsted report is very old. And I know that it has a good local reputation with small catchment. However, I am currently living near a school which is the same and really it isn't that great.
Looking at answers to these :

  1. How they are in supporting more able children as well as children with special needs? Do they believe in provide adequate support?
  2. Are they good on extra curricular activities - what are they? Forest school, music, sports, etc ?
  3. How is the infrastructure? Dated or good? Clasrooms adequately sized and well lit? Good outdoor space?
Will really love your inputs. Thanks

I know a lot of kids who went/go here, some very well. I don't think the actual school is as good as its reputation. None of the kids who left at 11 have gone to overwhelmingly good schools. No one went to Watford grammar (or maybe one person did), which is the aim if you're looking for state school education in Watford. However, I think the thing with nascot is, so much is down to parents to keep on top of things at home and provide wrap around teaching to complement teachers work. You can PM me if you want, I have a lot of experience with the school (I also live on the road).
