Knife brought to primary school

The school cannot pretend it didn’t happen. Whether they acted appropriately is difficult to ascertain as we don’t know the facts. It’s possible an idiot parent did go to the press.

Why have you started another thread on this, you started one yesterday too which you wrongly labelled 'stabbing at local primary school'.

Do you have some weird grudge against this school?!

A child brought a knife into our school a while back. They wanted to show their friends but hadn't really thought it through. Their classmates went home and told their parents, who then phoned the Head wanting to know what was going on.

The Head sent a letter home to the class parents saying that the situation had been dealt with and there was no cause for concern. Someone then contacted the local newspaper, who made the situation sound far more dramatic than the reality.

It's all about selling more newspapers and getting more clicks on the news website.
