SW London private schools - looking for opinions?

I have the good schools guide and have been to look at them but wondered if anyone had experience of the following schools

Broomwood Hall
Finton House
Hornsby House
Thomas' Clapham

I met someone last week who had heard the jeans rumour but regarding Thomas'

I think it's a long going myth and by this point in time nobody knows in relation to which school it all started!

I have just read this thread with interest as it was linked by TheBlonde on another thread. Btw - a good friend's husband is the Head at Finton and he's lovely! It's the wrong side of Wandsworth Common for us so too long a walk.

My Ds is at Parkgate (not mentioned here) and has an assessment place at Thomas for reception in Sept 09. I'm currently very unsure what to do as whilst Thomas is undoubtedly a good school I'm not convinced about how full on it is very little ones. Ds is a bright little boy who is a quick learner but I want him to enjoy school. My thoughts, today at least, are to leave him at Parkgate until prep age and then look at Thomas, Eaton House and Northcote Lodge.

Of course by then we may not even be in london anymore...
