Only boy in class

My son started reception class today and he is the only boy in his year with four girls. My husband is talking about wanting moving him to another school now. My other son is in year two in the same school. What would you do?

Class sizes like that are very make or break socially - if you get on well, it can be cracking fun. If not, there’s very little escape.

Thanks for all your replies, since I started this thread, another boy joined the class and my son really enjoys school. The KS1 cohort has formed one class so he has plenty of children to play with.
