Online school vs state or private

Before Covid our DC was having issues at their (previously) excellent state school and we had unfortunately begun looking for alternative provision. The issues were disruption from other pupils impacting the whole classes learning and also targeted bullying at my DC. (The head has acknowledged both).

Unfortunately due to Covid, the local private schools don’t have immediate places, although we are on the waiting lists. So, we are now looking at our options and are considering an online school such as Interhigh.

Does anyone have experience of an online school and how they rate vs state or private educations?

Oak National Academy are doing lessons for the whole of 20/21, so if it just a home-school holding position until a place comes up, I would use that.

As your DC state school seem to be aware of the problems could you talk to them about how they will deal with the bullying and then consider sending her back. Everything in school will be different and hopefully better for your DC.
