Primary schools central Manchester

Hello, does anyone have any up to date info on how oversubscribed primary schools in central Manchester are and which are the nicest ones? We're about to move to Hulme and I've done an in year transfer application but I'm worried we'll end up driving miles or getting somewhere rubbish.

There’s a great school in Trafford that tends to have places due to odd 45 children per year intake and would be a very easy cycle or bus trip from Hulme. St Hilda’s C of E Primary. Don’t know about schools actually in Hulme I’m afraid.

I wouldn't worry, if they go back they'll be home straight away.
We have local lockdown here across much of the NW.
We seem to have a problem with the ules, you see.

You can see what the Ofsted ratings were but nothing beats having a look for yourself.

You absolutely need to have a look. There are lots of schools in the area achieving incredible results and with well deserved ‘outstanding’ ratings that lots of people won’t consider for lots of different reasons. It is very very urban. Depends where you live at the moment how surprised you will be!

@swayingintime interesting, we're moving from a small town so it will feel very urban to us, but I know Hulme well so I can imagine what might put others off.
Thanks for the st Hilda's recommendation, do you know anything about st Mary's or st Philip's?

Rolls Crescent is really lovely and they might have spaces. It's got a Good rating from OFSTED and from what i've seen they are doing some great work.
