Does your PTA have a website?

If so, do you post copies of your letters on it - the ones that advertise events etc? If you do, do you have to have them approved by the head of the school or is the website your own and, as a registered charity and independent body you are allowed to put on it whatever you like?

Just wondering! We are in the process of setting up our website and coming up against a few road blocks wrt to school!

They are also not keen on us having links, e.g. to M&S, Amazon etc that will earn us money by clicking. Not sure why - I'm sure other PTA websites have this.

hellloooo

Our stuff is just through a link on the school's website, so we advertise events on there and put any other stuff in too - the member of staff in charge of the website puts stuff on for us. We though about having an independent one but then decided that no-one would look at it and if it's liked to the school one we would have more success.

hth - as to the money making links - can't help sorry!

Ah, that's what we had before but we wanted our own that we could control (and the school one is pants).
