We are collating an order for www.organised-mum.co.ukOrganised Mum calendars for one week only. The company can send you links to print out your own leaflet / order forms and you stick them in bookbags. You calculate your commission and keep it and send the group order with payment. Goods arrive within a week, easy money just for the price of a bit of copying. Calendars run from Sep07-Dec08 so this can be done anytime this term.

Yellow Moon catalogues good too - only have to hand out the catalogues, YM send the comission direct to the school

our school got £120 last time, for about an hour's worth of effort!

Will let you know how much we raised next week, we put the forms out on Friday and already had some orders Monday!

Thanks for the suggestion Bouquets.

I'm currently organising a barndance/hot pot fundraiser. The effort I'm putting in is huge, and tbh I'm not sure if we're going to make that much money (fingers crossed that we sell loads of raffle tickets on the night).

May do what you're suggesting next year (sounds somewhat easier).

Re event management I've found it's often best either to gang up with another group eg juniors or nearest pre-school, and split proceeds. Or lig on to someone else's event eg local pub quiz - bring lots of parents, token prizes and keep the entry money (asking quiz organisers first obviously) Or have a stall at someone else's event selling quizzes or mulled wine or something cheap.
