Kings College Wimbledon - has anyone son done the 8+ before?

I wanted to gage what the 8+ admission test was like? and if your child has to be a guru in maths?

Hello, yes my son did, 2 years ago. Without having seen the actual admissions test and results, I'd say he doesn't have to be a guru, but strong. We spoke to our son's headteacher before all the exams (because the school would have to give a reference) and he told us where our son ranked in English and maths which gave us a more concrete sense of things. This was at a state school, and my son was right at the top of the class.
