Anyone know how to re-knot a pre-knotted school tie on elastic?!

My DD came home from school today with the tie now just one long piece of material - all totally un-knotted! It "just happened while I was sitting down" apparently !! anyone know how to re-knot the thing- my first few attempts looking pretty dodgy!

We gave up on the pre-knotted one on elastic after a couple of weeks as it just did't survive DS1 and his friends. Sorry, that's not much help is it? I would recommend just getting a normal tie.

Thanks - think you are right there, She is gone to school today with a very home made tie type garment! Think i will pick up the real thing at the weekend-tracksuit tmrw and Friday phew!
