Has anyone had experience of primary appeals on the grounds that the admissions arrangements don't make it clear what constitute social and medical needs, or what evidence will be considered? It says in the admissions code that they must be clear, but we have had no end of trouble and inconsistent advice, and in the end didn't manage to submit any because we couldn't get clarity. so we might've missed out on a place because it went to the distance tie breaker in the oversubscription criteria.
