Hello, does anyone have any experience of the three Dorking primaries - St Pauls, St Joseph's and St Martins?
I've looked at this year's admissions data and it seems that St Joseph's was undersubscribed and St Paul's had a much wider catchment than normal. Has St Paul's gone a bit downhill and was the less popular choice this year?
Any help would be appreciated, especially as I wouldn't be surprised if open days were cancelled this year. We're currently looking to buy in Dorking and were aiming for as close to St Paul's as possible but maybe it's not the clear favourite anymore?
I understand that St Joseph's is pretty religious. The kids are baptised but we're not regular church attendees. We're also concerned that it lacks outside space.
Our kids are both summer babies (July), not sure if that would affect schools choice. They might struggle academically to begin with.
