Hi,
I am writing my dissertation and need help from primary teachers. The topic is called: in search of utopian futures. It will require 10 minutes of your time to fill out a questionnaire and 2 written interviews which are both very short. It would help me massively and I will be very grateful if any of you are able to participate. It could ease 10 minutes of boredom for you for those who are currently not working due to the circumstances.
If you feel interested please email me at [email protected] where I can send a participation form out with more information about my research.
Thankyou for reading.

All the Teachers from my school are either in school over the holidays looking after key worker children or at home trying to source work that can be done with limited internet, printer or other resources and that parents can support with, marking work set, delivering free school meals to parents who can't receive them any other way and writing reports whilst trying to keep themselves safe and well. Not many of them are bored!

Hi.
I didn't mean to imply that all teachers were bored. My post did say for those who are not currently working, however in the circumstances you've described I can see how it may have come across me saying that. I do not mean to offend anyone.

I'm sure you didn't! I'm probably just a little touchy when I know all my staff are slogging their guts out trying to keep things as normal as possible for worried children and parents, providing videos, work and just a friendly voice to listen to. Every single one has been amazing and I'm protective of them!

I guess it was insensitive of me to say, I didnt consider that for most teachers they are probably working harder than normal. I tried to delete the post as not to offend anyone else but I don't seem to be able to.

I don’t think your first post was offensive op good luck hope you get some responses

You haven’t been insensitive at all. I imagine most teachers would love to help. You are only asking for ten minutes. I’m forwarding thread to my group of teacher friends x
