How to deliver online learning.

Until last Wednesday, I hadn't even used Google Classroom. We had a very quick update in the staff meeting; before a very steep learning curve making sure all children were logged into the classroom and that work was delivered there (as well as paper packs to go home).

The first work was basically consolidation of things that we have covered in class with a small amount of research based work - however I am keen to provide more for pupils.

I know that getting everyone to log in at the same time every day for an online lesson just isn't possible - but a 'watch in your own time' video might be a good option.

I am looking for advice from anyone that has done video lessons before.
Namely - what software do you use? (video editing? Ppt with sound recorded? etc.)
Also, any other tips you have found from doing this?

Thanks very much!
