Little man has started reception, he already seems to have matured!!!!!!!!

Has this happened to anyone else? Is is just a phase?

My little man loves his uniform and his new shiny shoes and knowing where his book bag and drink bottle goes.

He is also incredibly chatty which is a real change - he tells me loads about what he has been doing, had for lunch, played with..

Again he seems more mature but not too grown up.

Oh so does mine - he adores his uniform, he has asked if he can go to bed in it!

mine won't tell me anything.
gets out of uniform into PJs as soon as he can (and he never normally wants to go to bed).
did like the chocolate chip bun at afterschool club!

Mine has - his language has always been mature (comes from living with just adults) but he seems to be making proper sentences and using longer words than usual, having proper "thoughts" and opinions!

he said to me at the weekend; "I think I fancy watching a DVD - what do you think about that, mummy" .... this child is FOUR!!!
