Hi all, my son really likes the reading style of Tom Gates and diary of a wimpy kid. Small bits of text, little doodles etc. What other books can I get for him that are similar? He has read his full collection 4x over now and is reluctant to read anything new!

The 13 Storey Treehouse series.

Agree with the Treehouse series, both of mine love them.
DD also likes the Ottoline books if you think he’d go for books with a girl as the main character.

Following as DS is the same, we did borrow a Bear Grylls book from the library which he liked. We also listen to TG on audio book and I have to admit I like him far better than DOWK or Treehouse. Maybe the Nate series ?

Joe Cowley series

Ds is reading Adrian Mole and loving it but he’s 13 so might be a bit old for your ds as you’ve not said his age.

I like the Middle School series by James Patterson.
If he can bring himself to read a 'girls' book there is the Dork Diaries. There is a spin off from Dork Diaries about one of the boy characters though.
