School have assessed my 7year who is struggling at school and told us his vocabulary, poor memory and logical thinking skills are to blame. Anyone else’s child ever been diagnosed and how did you overcome this. My son and very fluent reader and can spell very well but his reading comprehension is well below average.
I am consumed by this, I have bought everyone book, App, gadget I can think of to support my son but he doesn’t really seem interested and it’s breaking my heart.
