Hi All,
we are looking to move to Milton Keynes, the Two-mile ash Area

I would like to know about Two mile Ash school.
I can see the last ofsted rating was outstanding in 2009.
Is it still a good school? pros and cons, please?

Thanks

Before you get too invested in the school, have you checked that they have places? Or are you relying on getting in via appeal (do you have any particular grounds for appeal)? As a rule of thumb, a good school in Milton Keynes is going to be oversubscribed, unless you happen to get lucky with timings.

This thread didn't have many responses but it's exactly my situation now.

I would be very appreciated if people could share some information/experience about the school, if children feel happy in the school...
thank you very much!

Hi lilypop do you use Facebook? If so there is a very good mum to mum Milton Keynes group where you will get loads of responses to this question.

The trust that run Two mile Ash school also run a lot of other schools. So that is good. But as you can see the Ofsted was a long time ago. I've never heard anything anything negative about it...also near hy you have Fairfield and Whitehouse Park schools. Loughton has a number of schools too. But if you are planning an in year transfer you will need to know where has spaces.

thanks Mumdiva99, yes I checked the FB page today and the posts I found were good but they're not recent. I trust nothing has changed drastically since but was just looking to know how people/children attending feel about it to complement my research as they are not offering visits at the mom, most schools aren't. cheers :)
