Hi,
My DS has got an offer for a place at St Dunstans through the 7+ process. I was wondering if someone with children in the school could spare some time to share their experience and answer a few questions either through a private chat or over phone.
Thank you

Hi PSMumOf2,

We're not able to offer any insight on this school unfortunately but it might be worth posting on Mumsnet Local for your area to see whether any local parents can help you out.

We hope you can get some useful advice.

Thanks @FlissMumsnet. I will try that. Have a good day ahead

I don’t know anyone currently at the school but it has a rep for being lovely for younger boys but not having the facilities or space for older boys.

Thanks @Rhayader. During the meeting with parent, they said that they are undergoing a big refurbishment (c. 25 million pounds) which might help with the space problem you mentioned.

It's not vast like a rural public school, but it has big playing fields at the back and another large area of playing fields 5 minutes away, with cricket and rugby pitches, many multi-use areas etc. I've never heard anyone complain about space in the main building either (I'm parent of a senior school boy) - not quite sure where this idea has come from.
