Primary schools in Victoria,Westminster; Burdett Coutts or St Mathews?

Hi, I will soon be moving and these schools will be the closest to us. My children will be going into reception, year 1 and year 3. Does anyone have any experience of either of these Primary schools and which would you say is better? I believe St Mathews teaches Spanish from year 1 which is an advantage. Both websites are quite informative. I want a school where children are happy and feel safe from bullying and teachers are respected by the pupils. Good and bad experiences welcome.

I know someone who's DC are in St. Matthew's. It's a really lovely school but not awfully strict.

I think you need to visit both schools. Burdett Coutts used to be two form entry but has had to reduce to one form. Not sure why exactly. I keep hearing good things about St Matthew's. Great Head and lovely staff. A really good buzz when I visited. I am looking for mine for Reception in 2021 but have already decided! Be careful about Millbank. They have had lots of changes in Head so not very settled. It used to be the most popular school locally. I also liked St Gabriel's- don't be put off by location!

St Gabriels and St Matthews are both lovely schools.
BC is reducing numbers as there are fewer children living in Westminster.
Go see them all.

My sister in law is headteacher of Pimlico Primary (an outstanding free school). I think this looks like it is in your search area - definitely worth a look!
