St Christopher’s the Hall, Beckenham - views?

This is my first time posting on MN (having lurked for a long time) and so hopefully I’m posting to the right place!

I’m hoping for some advice/views re St Christopher’s the Hall, as we’re fairly new to the area and considering sending our daughter there (other option is St David’s). We visited the school and were impressed with the facilities. We also liked the headmaster. The factor that is giving me pause is academic results/ leaver destinations. I can’t find much info about this either online or in the school bumph, which is making me nervous. If any Beckenham mums have experience of the school or any advice I’d be extremely grateful. Thanks in advance.

I should also say, if anyone has views on st David’s, I’d also be very grateful for those.

My neighbour's twin grandsons went to St Christophers The Hall and they both did well. Both got partial scholarships to secondary independent schools.

I lived locally to the school and over the last few years, there have been many improvements to the buildings and fabric of the school. The school has a good local reputation.

I'm not commenting on St David's as I don't know much about the school

Thank you Chottie, I really appreciate the info!

Hi!
I don't know much about St Christopher's but I can tell you about St Davids! My daughter is currently in Yr2 and been there since Reception. We both love the school. It is such a lovely community and the staff are second to none, open door policy and great communication. They really care and it shows. Go and have a look around. The children are just super polite and lovely all round kids.
Good luck!

Thanks so much Missmillsie, I really appreciate the info!

In terms of destinations, do you know if the kids there are generally successful in moving on to the schools they want?

We did visit the school, and thought it seemed like a lovely environment, and as you say were impressed by the kids.

Hello, I know this thread was started several years ago but I wondered if you made a decision had any recent experience of either schools St Christopher's or St David's @Otiumgrove ?
We are also fairly new to the area and struggling to choose... we are also considering Royal Russell school which is a little further away.
Thanks so much :)
