Is Level 1 half day or full day in the UK?

I know that schools hours depend on the individual school, but I'm wondering if Level 1 students (5 to 6 year olds) largely do either half days( am or pm) or full days in the UK? TIA!

Year 1 ( not level 1) is 5 and 6 year olds and they do a full day which is typically 9:09 am to 3:00 pm ( maybe 3:15pm with an extra break time during the day)

So 5-6 is year 1 and is full day.

I think you mean year 1, this is actually the second year of primary (in England; Scotland is different). Full days are normal from reception (age 4-5) after the first few weeks at any rate. By year 1 it's all full time.

9:00 not 9:09 !

I'm in Scotland and it is a full school day when they start school. In my area its 8.55am - 3pm each day. We have Primary 1 - Primary 7 starting around age 4 and a half. Secondary school would be S1 until S5 or S6

Think in England they can start from just after turning 4 and their first year of primary is Reception followed by Year 1. As far as I know they are in all day too. Dont know about all their year group names.

Three year olds can do full days in school nursery now never mind six year olds.
