Hi, does anybody have the definitive list of spellings to prepare for the 2020 KS2 sats spelling paper?

I've looked online but can't find a list that captures all words that could possibly be used!

Any ideas? TIA

The words don’t have to be from the list. In fact they are often not. They do have to involve the spelling patterns in the last though!

I'm a Year 6 teacher.

The point is that there is no definitive list. They can be tested on any spelling pattern from the National Curriculum. This may or may not include words from the statutory word list.

You can google the spelling test words from previous years but it won't tell you which words will be on this year's test.

You can, however, learn the objectives and the words grouped by sound.

Unfortunately the only list to capture all possible words is called a dictionary ... the test can throw up any English word
