Is there such a thing as fun verbal & NV reasoning books?

DD is in yr 5 and wants to have a go at the 11+. Brilliant reader, not as good at maths, has a tutor. I just had a look at some example verbal and non verbal reasoning questions and bloody hell, they looked hard (and I'd consider myself intelligent!)

Now, I know her tutor will introduce her to V & NV reasoning soon enough but I thought it would be beneficial to get as much practice as possible. However if I try to get her to do any more work in addition to HW and what she gets from her tutor, I know she won't be happy and will push back. She does however enjoy doing puzzle books. Are there any puzzle/quiz books out there that include those sorts of questions but actually look like fun puzzle books rather than work books, iyswim? I.e anything emblazoned with "11+ practice questions" or "NV reasoning" on the title page will not go down well!!!

The CGP 10 minute test books were the most “fun”. My daughter hated the longer tests but would quite happily sit and do one of those. We took the little but often approach.

Thank you. But is there anything that isn't actually a test, just a puzzle type book?

I couldn’t find anything. The point of the exercises is to familiarise yourself with the specific question types. You might find some puzzles that follow the same sort of logic as the code questions but ultimately it’s getting used to a very specific format.

Maybe I'll just try a CGP book and hope I don't get the usual sigh/eyeroll at my attempts to get her to do a bit more work!
