Lingfield College or local state recent reviews?

Thinking about primary schools for DD for next September and really scratching our heads over local schools and whether to go state or private.

Although we live halfway between Edenbridge and Lingfield, we fall into the catchment for Edenbridge primary which we don't want her to go to. We are currently thinking of exploring Dormansland as an option but don't know enough about it/haven't heard much, and potentially Chiddingstone (but feel we are too far out). Also interested in exploring Lingfield College but have read some quite mixed reviews! Does anyone have any recent experience of these or can recommend any others in the area (private that is)?

You are too far.our for chiddingstone. It and Crockha m hill are over subscribed . You may be able to get a place in 4Elms. Hever or Ide Hill I would suggest you visit them a 'll and don't go by offsted. X NDN moved her ds from Edenbridge Pri Mary to Dormansland and was very happy with that choice. However friend living in similiar situation to you did not get into Dormansland on allocation they ended up in 4Elms and are happy there. Friend at Lingfield college !moved away and was not keen. However other friend loves it.

Go visit them all to get the feel of the school. Mine went to Hever We were happy with the school overall however my youngest is sitting GCSE. So current experience is hearsay from friends with children or grandchildren in the mentioned schools.

Do NOT hang it all on offsted. Go. Visit and get.your ow feeling of the place.
