If you are primary, do you have a place at a school?

Instrument music tuition from teachers from the Buckinghamshire Music Trust is often bought in by schools and you pay a termly fee. They are usually small group tuition. They also run all sorts of orchestras and ensembles in their Music centres. Your DC would be told about what they can go to and when it’s held. They are very, very high quality. (The (Secondary age) Jazz Band is stunning!)

Schools themselves might have a teacher who teaches music, eg recorder. Ask the school.

Many schools run sports tuition and teams that compete, eg netball and football. Again, ask the school what they do. Bigger schools often have better music and sport due to numbers.

Failing that, there are private clubs for sports and music tuition is available privately.

Definitely look up the Bucks Music Trust run out of the Amersham school (secondary/6th form school), my daughter started earlier in the year and its really helped her develop in her first year of playing an instrument as the school lessons are usually only 20 min once a week.
The BMT is a fee per half term for as many classes (mainly Saturdays) that you can sensibly attend.
We are in a neighbouring town so I'm not sure what sports club there are but a number of the schools in the area run after schools clubs that include sports sessions.
